The monthly building permit summary has been released for the town of Battleford and while numbers are stable for the month, the permit value is lower than last year.
Five permits were issued in October for $861,000, which compares to five issued for $1,180,000 for the same month last year.
For the year through October a total of 45 permits have been issued for a value of $7,372,419, compared to 59 for $22,253,790 for the same period a year ago.
