Opportunists have been making off with vehicles in the Cut Knife area, and RCMP are reminding residents to remove keys from vehicles and to lock them up.
Several complaints of vehicle theft in the rural area around Cut Knife have been reported to the RCMP in the last month, and they say a majority of those stolen were unlocked with keys inside.
The police add that all valuables should be removed from vehicles.
The Cut Knife RCMP ask the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to their nearest RCMP detachment.
