Both Maidstone and Lloydminster Rural RCMP detachments are reporting a marijuana bust in the region.
On Thursday, Sept. 5, members of the two detachments converged on a rural area in the RM of Wilton to execute a search warrant for a marijuana grow operation.
A total of 35 marijuana plants in all stages of growth and production, along with solar panels, batteries, irrigation system and other equipment, were seized, say the RCMP.
Maidstone Detachment and Lloydminster Rural Detachment say they are both continuing the investigation.
