From 6:00 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23 to 6:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 Battlefords RCMP responded to 54 calls for service including the following:
Sept. 23
8:35 a.m. - Request for assistance received from Regina Police Service in regards to a missing person from their jurisdiction. Judy Lynn Campbell (age 65) has not been seen since Wednesday and their investigation places her last known location in the Delmas area. Campbell drives a late model Subaru Crosstrek, brown in colour. The public is asked to contact their local police service if they come across a vehicle of this description.
3:35 p.m. - Complaint of animal cruelty on Highway 16, investigation ongoing.
6:10 p.m. - Complaint of child custody dispute, child not in peril, parties advised that dispute needs to be addressed by Family Court.
Sept. 24
2:33 a.m. - Complaint of hit and run motor vehicle accident, members located suspect vehicle and driver found to be impaired. Charges of driving while impaired and failing to remain at the scene of an accident are pending against a 22 year-old North Battleford man.
5:08 a.m. - Complaint of an assault with a weapon received on the 1300 block of 103rd Street in North Battleford. Suspects fled the scene and investigation is ongoing.
Police also responded to 3 false/nuisance 911 calls, 12 minor disturbance reports, 1 alarm, 4 Mental Health Act complaints, 12 traffic investigations, 6 minor property damage complaints, 3 subjects who were arrested for alcohol related offences, 4 breach of conditions and 4 minor theft/shoplifting complaints.
