Wayne Spark must be dizzy. Just as he was leaving the grocery store, Spark was struck with the thought to double back and check his Lotto 6/49 ticket. The Saskatoon resident then turned back only to do another double take at the ticket checker: he had won $150,552.60 on the October 5 Lotto 6/49 draw!
Recalling the moment he discovered his win, Spark said he had thought, “‘This must be my lucky day!’” He paused only long enough to check his ticket one more time before heading home to share the good news with his wife.
Now that the win has sunk in, Spark is unable to settle on just one dream, and said that he and his wife have decided to invest the windfall for now.
One thing he knows for sure: “I feel lucky and very fortunate to win.”
Spark purchased his winning Lotto 6/49 ticket at the Saskatoon Co-Op Gas Bar located at 106 Stonebridge Boulevard in Saskatoon. He won his prize by matching five of the six main draw numbers, plus the bonus number. The winning numbers were 14, 19, 35, 38, 42, and 46; the bonus number was 12
