Be ready to look up into the sky and see a flypast by Canada's Snowbirds this afternoon.
The Snowbirds are set to do a flypast of the Battlefords this afternoon. They are scheduled to leave Saskatoon at 1:30 p.m. and will fly past the Battlefords en route to Cold Lake, Alberta. Those located along the highway 16 route from Saskatoon to Lloydminster should get a good view of the Snowbirds today.
It is part of their Operation Inspiration flight across Canada, a tour that began in Halifax. The Snowbirds departed from Moose Jaw this morning at 9:30 a.m. and have flown past Regina as they made their way to Saskatoon.
People are encouraged to watch the Snowbirds' Facebook and Twitter feeds for updates on takeoffs.
