Oil Spill
No updates have been received on material from the Husky Energy pipeline spill near Maidstone reaching the city. The City says it sees no news as good news.
Boat Launch
The boat launch (near = Saskatchewan Hospital) will be closed for approximately two weeks to accommodate the dredging of the North Saskatchewan River in front of the water intake of the F.E. Holliday water treatment plant.
The dredging was scheduled to remove sand that built up in front of the treatment plant's water intake structure. It is not related to the oil spill.
