It has been an active few days for the Empty Stocking Fund in their final push towards filling up hampers for families in need this Christmas season.
Thursday volunteers sorted through some two ambulances worth of toys donated through the WPD “Cram Our Ambulance” campaign.
Sunday, volunteers were busy at the Empty Stocking Fund offices handing out the Christmas hampers and toys for the families that had arrived. That was an intensive effort through the morning and into the afternoon.
Monday around 3 p.m., Loraas Environmental was scheduled to make their donation. It was originally scheduled for Thursday but was pushed back, mainly because Loraas was overwhelmed by the number of donations they received.
