Battlefords RCMP are investigating the sudden death of a 36-year-old woman in North Battleford Tuesday.
Police say a call was received of a woman in medical distress in front of a residence on the 100 block of 103rd Street at 9:45 p.m.
According to the RCMP, officers and EMS arrived at the location simultaneously. EMS personnel conducted life saving measures and transported the woman to Battlefords Union Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police say a number of persons who had been with this woman earlier in the evening have been located and are co-operating with the investigation.
A cause of death has not been determined and the coroner’s office has ordered an autopsy.
