Sunday afternoon, the Battlefords Blend Sweet Adelines will barbershop their way through an afternoon of harmony and a capella music.
Starting at 2 p.m., the show is titled Frost, in honour of the season. Come early for a chance to enter a raffle and a 50/50.
Special guests will be Joy of Vox, an adult pop vocal group from Saskatoon. Joy of Vox was formed in the fall of 2012, and is directed by Streetnix alumnus BJ Harris.
Battlefords Blend will also be debuting its new quartet, Femme Fourtalle.
Tickets are $20 plus GST and can be purchased from either the Dekker Centre Box Office or a chorus member.
Battlefords Blend is a member of Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide women's singing organization committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performance. Sweet Adelines was formed in Tulsa, Okla. in 1945 and now has over 32,00 members.
Battlefords Blend was chartered in 1982 and has been actively involved in local entertainment and regional workshops and competitions ever since.
The chorus is under the direction of Annette Duhaime.
