Trial set in Pinehouse court for Tinker

Tinker was wanted after he failed to be put on electronic monitoring for uttering threats and resisting/obstructing a peace officer

LA RONGE – A trial is set for April 13 for a Pinehouse man who was wanted by police.

In November 2021, Pinehouse RCMP released Jerry Tinker’s photo and asked the public’s help locating him. He was charged with failing to comply with two court ordered conditions including reporting to a probation officer and enrolling/complying with electronic monitoring. At the time, Tinker was to be put on electronic monitoring for uttering threats and resisting/obstructing a peace officer.

Tinker was arrested Nov. 30 at a home in Pinehouse and additionally charged with two counts of resisting/obstructing a peace officer.
