Turning tradition into a time of giving

Madison Pratt cuts her hair every last day of school to make summer a little cooler. This year, the seven-year-old made her annual tradition a little more special by donating over nine inches of hair to make wigs for children with cancer.

This year, the seven-year-old made her annual tradition a little more special by donating over nine inches of hair to make wigs for children with cancer.

Madison loves styling hair, she said through mom, Carol, especially into braids.

Carol says that Madison once told her that, by donating her hair, now other children can have the same opportunity to style their hair like Madison does with her mom.
