Two-vehicle collision on Hwy 3

The Shellbrook RCMP were on the scene of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Hwy 3 at Holbein and Hwy 693 yesterday.

Preliminary investigation revealed a red Dodge pickup truck was eastbound on Hwy 3 when a southbound blue GMC pickup truck proceeded through the intersection and into the path of the Dodge pickup.The Dodge collided with the GMC, hitting it on the passenger side.

Two male occupants of the Dodge pickup along with the male driver and female passenger from the GMC pickup were taken by ambulance to Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert with undetermined injuries.

A collision analyst was en route to the scene and expected to be there for a few hours along with members of Shellbrook RCMP.

Investigation into this matter is ongoing. No further details are known at this time.
