Battlefords RCMP responded to about 20 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Saturday, March 1 and 6 a.m. Sunday, March 2.
Three of those calls were nuisance/false 911 calls, five were related to traffic complaints and one was a false alarm
Saturday
12:15 p.m. - Reported theft/fraud related to cell phone hook up.
2:25 p.m. - Vehicle parked in a parking lot on Railway Avenue East had a window smashed and property stolen from it. Occurred sometime between 1:25 p.m. and the time of complaint.
2:45 p.m. - 23-year-old man arrested for public intoxication after report of male causing a disturbance at a business.
6:23 p.m. - 42-year-old male arrested for public intoxication, causing a disturbance at a bar.
6:31 p.m. - Report of a disturbance at a residence on 108th Street. One party taken to a friend's home to keep the peace for the evening.
8:28 p.m. - 29-year-old male arrested for mischief after report of intoxicated, unwanted guest refusing to leave a residence on St Laurent Drive.
9:47 p.m. - Uttering threats complaint made, ongoing dispute between two subjects. Investigation ongoing.
Sunday
12:47 a.m. - Report of intoxicated persons refusing to leave a bar. When members attended, subject of complaint was located in a vehicle with several other individuals. All were intoxicated and had open alcohol and thought the best thing to do would be to start yelling and swearing at police. Three women, aged 19, 22 and 22 and a 21-year-old man arrested and held in custody until sober. All facing charges under Liquor Act as well.
4:09 a.m. - Vehicle stop on Battleford Road. 17-year-old youth driver arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. 20-year-old male passenger arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, failing to comply with probation and failing to comply with undertaking, and a 17-year-old passenger arrested and also facing a charge of possession of marijuana.
5:21 a.m. - 19-year-old male arrested for public intoxication after report of unknown male sleeping in the lobby of an apartment building on 97th Street.
