KINDERSLEY – Police are searching for a 45-year-old man wanted by Correctional Service Canada for breaching his parole.

According to parole documents, 45-year-old Curtis Mikituk was released on statutory release in May. He had been serving his second federal prison sentence. This time it was for break and enter and robbery. While under the influence of meth or fentanyl, Mikituk and his accomplices broke into the home of a 71-year-old woman while her husband and son were out and threatened to use a taser on her, according to parole documents.

His previous criminal history includes thefts, drug charges, weapons offences, kidnapping and robbery convictions.

Mikituk has a history of being a gang member, according to parole documents.

His mother is aware of his criminal history and addictions and is afraid to lose him because he is her last remaining son as his brothers have all died, reveal parole documents.

“She does not want to lose you,” says the report.

Last week Kindersley RCMP said Mikituk was last known to be in the Kindersley area.

Mikituk is about 5-foot-11 and 215 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair. He has multiple tattoos on his neck (including letters on each side of his neck), arms and under one eye.
