The Battlefords Stars dropped back-to-back games this weekend in Yorkton against the Maulers, and on Sunday it was by an 8-2 margin.
It was a 4-2 game with goals from Jayden Nachtegaele and Kenzie Arnold before the Maulers put up five in the third period. Yorkton took their power play opportunities and ran with them, scoring four times on 10 attempts, and out shooting the Stars 27-22.
The AAA Stars now have six days off. They play against the Notre Dame Argos at the Duncan McNeill arena next Saturday.
