Bantam Barons win Swift Tournament

The Battlefords Bantam A Barons provincial team was in action on the weekend and won the Swift Current Bantam A Tournament. The Barons beat the host Swift Current Broncos in the championship game by a 5-4 score in overtime.

The Battlefords Bantam A Barons provincial team was in action on the weekend and won the Swift Current Bantam A Tournament.

The Barons beat the host Swift Current Broncos in the championship game by a 5-4 score in overtime.

The Barons went through the round robin with a perfect 3-0 record after beating the Bonneyville Pontiacs 6-3, the Swift Current Eliminators 5-1 and the Warman Panthers 9-0.

The next game action for the Barons will be at the end of the month in an exhibition game against the Edam/Turtleford provincial team.
