Pee Wee Barons 2 attended a tournament in Turtleford on the weekend.

In the first game they met up with St Walburg. It was a slow start for the Barons leading 2-1 after one period. They kept gaining momentum and increased the lead to 4-1 after two periods and ended up cruising to a 7-1 win.

The second game was a little more of a tight-checking game with a scoreless first period against Debden. The Barons managed to score two goals in the second and one in the third to win the game 3-0 and place first in their pool.

In the A final the Barons were matched up against a high flying Hillmond team that led the tournament with 15 goals and only two against. It was back and forth all first period until the Barons scored two goals 45 seconds apart in the last two minutes.

Hillmond gained some momentum in the second period and they tied it 2-2. But before the end of the period the Barons scored two more quick goals less than a minute apart to regain the lead. It was a lead they would not give up as they scored two more times in the third period, to win the game 6-2 and the tournament.
