It was the biggest attended dart tournament in North Battleford with more than 30 participants in the Legion Hall in North Battleford Saturday. Along with a handful of locals players from across the province and event as far as Calgary competed.

The North Battleford Legion hosted dozens of players competing in the annual dart tournament. This year was the best attended tournament in North Battleford.

It was the biggest attended dart tournament in North Battleford with more than 30 participants in the Legion Hall in North Battleford Saturday.

Along with a handful of locals players from across the province and event as far as Calgary competed.

In the mixed doubles division, local Jason Skinner partnered with Dorothy Zimmer of Regina to take first place.

Along with success in the mixed doubles event, Skinner also had a good run in the men's singles event as he finished second to Karsten Larsen of Saskatoon.

Locals Sharon Acker and Jody Germann finished third in the joint division.

Barb Schmidt of Saskatoon was the champion of the ladies' division.

For those interested in the sport, there is league action every Thursday at 7 p.m. and everyone is welcome to join the league or simply try the sport.
