Beavers are back on track

After losing two straight North Saskatchewan River Baseball League games, the Beavers responded with a convincing 9-2 win Wednesday night in Lloydminster against the Midwest Expos.

After losing two straight North Saskatchewan River Baseball League games, the Beavers responded with a convincing 9-2 win Wednesday night in Lloydminster against the Midwest Expos.

Aaron Cadrin earned the win on he mound for the Beavers and Bryce Gatzke kick started the offence with a grand slam.

The Beavers were a bit short on arms and energy after playing four games in the Saskatoon Fathers Day Tournament the Beavers went 1-3. They were happy overall with the effort against some higher calibre teams. Ryan Shepherd said the Beavers played good most games until some errors or mistakes were made and it snowballed from that point.

The other scores from Wednesday night had the Meadow Lake White Sox win 8-4 at home against Standard Hill.

The Lloydminster Junior Redhawks beat the Lloydminster Midget Twins 14-0.
