COVID-19 continues to impact the schedule for the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.

THE BATTLEFORDS - COVID-19 has scuttled more SJHL games and that means more schedule changes for the Battlefords North Stars.

The North Stars were set to face the Flin Flon Bombers Saturday and Sunday at home, but those plans changed after Flin Flon began what for them is another five-day pause of activities Wednesday due to COVID-19 protocols. The Bombers have been dealing with COVID-19 related problems since late December.

Instead of the Bombers, the North Stars will face the Kindersley Klippers for two games this weekend. Friday night's game will be in Kindersley and has been moved up from Feb. 27. Saturday's contest will be at Access Communications Centre and is moved up from Jan. 28.

As of now, five clubs in the SJHL are on pause due to COVID-19: Estevan, Notre Dame, La Ronge, Flin Flon and Yorkton. Nipawin had been on pause since Jan. 5 but were scheduled to be back in action Jan. 12.
