Barrett Penner scored twice for the Outlaws and Mike Sittler, Mitch Suchan and Rick Cey had singles.

The Outlaws were in Maidstone one night earlier and earned their fourth win of the season with a 6-3 score.

Also Friday night, the Meadow Lake Stampeders earned their second win of the season with a 4-2 victory in Paradise Hill.

The Edam/Turtleford rivalry was renewed Friday and it was Turtleford winning 5-4 in a shootout.

Edam's Joel Jullion and Turtleford's Mitch Perkins scored in the first period. In the second, it was ONeil Baillargeon for Edam and Kris Bloom and Blair Knowlton scoring for Turtleford.

Nothing was solved in overtime and it was Turtleford's first shooter, Bloom, who was the difference scoring on Quinton Gauthier. All three of Edam's shooters were stopped by Chad Therres.

The other game on the schedule had Meadow Lake going to Turtleford, but that game was postponed and no date has been set to play the game.
