Feser to play in Canada Games

Rhett Feser has experienced more good news this baseball season. His success in his first year with the Badlands Baseball Academy is one thing, but now the accomplishments keep coming.

Rhett Feser has experienced more good news this baseball season.

His success in his first year with the Badlands Baseball Academy is one thing, but now the accomplishments keep coming. June 25th, Feser's 17th birthday, he received notification that he was selected to play on Team Saskatchewan, who will complete in Canada Games August 1st - 10th of this summer, in Sherbooke, Que.

Canada Summer Games is Canada's biggest tournament. Feser was evaluated during his season in the Saskatoon Prairie Baseball League. He will also participate in an event in Minneapolis, Minn. with Team Saskatchewan. Until then, he continues to practice and play with the Saskatoon Cubs.

After the Badlands Baseball Academy posted the good news on their Facebook page, dozens of fans offered their congratulations on both social media and in person. Feser's successful career continues.

Rhett is the son of Dan and Lisa Feser of Unity. He plans to return to the academy in Oyen, Alta. for his Grade 12 year.
