The John Paul II Collegiate junior boys’ basketball team is off to a 7-0 start versus their junior competition.

The Crusaders took home first place at the NBCHS Vikings tournament with victories over Lloydminster Holy Rosary High School, NBCHS Vikings “A” and  NBCHS Vikings “B” teams.

The Crusaders have also posted victories over the Unity Warriors and, most recently, a 35-point victory over the Lloydminster College Park Cobras.

The junior boys will look to keep things rolling after Christmas with tournaments at Holy Rosary High School in Lloydminster, Bishop Lloyd and E.S. Laird Middle Schools in Lloydminster, Jonas Samson School in Meadow Lake and Unity Composite High School.

The Crusaders will also be competing in exhibition games after Christmas. The matchups will be against Lloydminster College Park, Legacy Christian Academy and St. Joseph’s High School from Saskatoon.
