Lloydminster's first action of the week was rained out June 19. They were scheduled to host the North Battleford Beavers, but the contest was rained out.

The Twins continued their defence of first place Tuesday night when they welcomed the Wilkie Brewers into town. Lloydminster came away with the win, edging Wilkie 4-3.

The Blue Jays kept pace with the Twins as they won twice last week. They travelled to Edam and shut out the Blue Sox 3-0 June 19. Landon Noyes went five innings and struck out four batters to pick up the win for Border City. Blue Sox pitcher Damon Schaefer pitched a complete game with five strikeouts in a losing cause. Jason Fechter and Kurri Carlson each had three hits and an RBI for the Blue Jays.

Border City picked up their second shutout of the week, beating the Unity Cardinals 2-0 Monday evening. Fechter took to the mound for the Blue Jays and pitched a complete game, striking out eight Cardinals. Francis Kiefer also went the distance for Unity, striking out three and walking one Border City batter.

Meadow Lake also kept pace, downing the Standard Hill Lakers 11-2 Sunday. The Sox hosted the Expos Tuesday night, beating Midwest 5-1 to earn their second win of the week.

In other NSRBL action, the Unity Cardinals dropped the Standard Hill Lakers 4-1 June 19.

The two teams named the Lakers met Monday night. Standard Hill earned bragging rights with a 3-1 home win over Macklin. Also Monday, the St. Walburg Reds earned a 8-2 road victory against the Blue Sox.

There was one more game Tuesday night. The Cardinals beat the Mervin Flyers 4-1 in Unity.
