The season is over for John Paul II Crusaders football.
The Crusaders took on the Melfort Comets in Melfort on Saturday in the provincial semifinal, and were defeated decisively by a 45-15 final score.
The Comets now take on Warman next week in Melfort in the provincial 3A 9-man finals as they seek back-to-back provincial titles. Warman had defeated Humboldt in the other semifinal 42-22.
