The Battlefords Midget Stars remain winless after falling 6-1 to the Saskatoon Blazers Friday.

The Blazer's used a power play goal in the first period, three goals in the second and two in the third to earn the victory.

Colin Shirley had two goals to lead the Blazers' offence.

The Stars' lone goal came from Brody Tatchell, as Carter Danczak and Robin Yew had the assists on his third of the season.

It was another penalty filled Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League game, as the Stars had seven power plays, but failed to score and the Blazers scored once on nine power plays.

Blair Mahon started the game, but was relieved by Nigel Rempel in the Stars' net after allowing six goals on 25 shots.

The Stars will look to turn their luck around with three straight home games, being Wednesday against Prince Albert and continuing this weekend, Saturday and Sunday against Moose Jaw. Prince Albert brings a 4-1-0-0 record to North Battleford while the Moose Jaw Generals are 3-3-1-0 to this point.
