It was a great day for baseball on Saturday, with the sun peaking through the clouds for the day.
The Muenster AA Midget Red Sox played Swift Current on May 26 in Muenster, winning the game 10-7.
"It was a good game," said coach Jim Korte. "We got a bunch of runs in the fifth inning and cruised from there."
Mick Rueve pitched the first four innings and was relieved by Colby Frerichs, who pitched the last three innings to get the win, said Korte.
The season is looking good for the Red Sox.
"We have only had one loss," said Korte.
Their record so far is two wins, one loss and one tie.
The Red Sox will travel to Bethune on June 2 for their next game, a doubleheader against the Bucks at 1 p.m.
