The golfers of New Horizons managed to beat the rain with as 29 members finished their weekly game Monday morning.
The group of Brian Miller, Sid Waters, John Dove and Jim Fraser took first place for the round. Second place went to Don Murray, Ken Schwab, Ken Holliday and Etta Meisner. The third place winners were Merv Zulynik, Norm Soiseth and Faye Erickson.
Dick Blom, Bryan Boechler, Art Strueby and Iris Thompson were the consolation winners.
Soiseth took the closest to the pin award at No. 8. The longest putt at No. 9 went to Bruce Dalshaug.
