New Horizons holds final regular game of the season

New Horizons held theirgolf tournament Sept. 22 as 29 members participated during a beautiful, warm day. Taking first place Monday was the threesome of John Chomyn, Hank Nickel and Brian Erickson.

New Horizons held theirgolf tournament Sept. 22 as 29 members participated during a beautiful, warm day.

Taking first place Monday was the threesome of John Chomyn, Hank Nickel and Brian Erickson.

Dale Cain, Ken Schwab, Dave Page and Sid Waters placed second, while the foursome of Art Strueby, Nester Brunwald, Frank Simpson and John Dove finished third. The consolation was claimed by Wally McNabb, Marion McNabb and Bernie Meisner.

Closest to the pin on No. 8 was won by John Dove, while Don Dill claimed the longest putt and the Co-op Car Wash.

This was their final regular game for the year.The windup will be held Monday, Sept. 29, with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. The game will be followed by presentation of prizes and a supper at 4:30 p.m.
