On a beautiful, sunny day Monday, 27 golfers came out for New Horizons after being rained out Sept. 8.
John Chomyn, Hank Nickel, Allie Raycraft and Dave Page finished first with a 1-over 37.
Norm Soiseth, Jim Fraser, Brian Miller and Dick Blom placed second with 38.
In third were Don Murray, Sid Waters, John Dove and John Yarske with 39 on a countback with the Lyle Whitbread Team.
Consolation went to Brian and Faye Erickson with Ken Holliday and Gerry Bristow.
Closest to the pin on No. 8 was Dave Page. The longest putt on No. 9 was Bruce Dalshaug, winning a car wash from the Co-op.
New Horizons will be hosting their wind-up round Sept. 29, open to all members even if they have not been golfing this season. Tee off is 1:30 p.m., followed by supper at the golf course starting between 4:30 and 5 p.m. Cost is $20 per person. Contact Raycaft, Bernie Meisner or Jack Goodwin.
