The Battlefords North Stars acquired goaltender Spencer Tremblay from the BCHL's Chilliwack Chiefs in exchange for forward Luke McColgan.
In 13 games played for the Chiefs last season, the 19-year-old from Winnipeg, Man. had a 5-7 record with a 5.32 goals-against average.
McColgan, a 19-year-old from Manhattan Beach, Calif., had 12 goals and 27 assists in 48 regular season games for the North Stars last year. He chipped in a goal and two assists during the North Stars' run in the SJHL playoffs.
