The Battlefords North Stars have completed a future considerations trade with the Dauphin Kings of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
Departing the North Stars and joining the Kings will be 1995-born defenceman Robin Yew and brother, '95 forward Regan Yew.
The Yew brothers joined the North Stars in a transaction from the Drumheller Dragons during the 2013-14 season. This season, Robin Yew has contributed five points in 10 games played. In 11 games played, Regan Yew has contributed three points.
"The Ile-a la-Crosse brothers have been tremendous role models within the Battlefords communities," said the North Stars in a press release. "They have both competed as members of the Battlefords AAA Stars and the North Stars organizations. On behalf of the North Stars organization we would like to thank both Robin and Regan and the Yew family for their time with the North Stars and wish them continued success with the Dauphin Kings."
