The Battlefords North Stars have made a deal to send one of their forwards to the English River Miners of the Junior A Superior International Junior Hockey League.

The team confirmed in a news release they have sent 1997-born forward Nash Dabb to the Miners for future considerations. He was one of 16 forwards on the team’s roster.

In the release, the North Stars thanked him and his family for their time and commitment to the team and wished him best of luck with his new hockey team.

Dabb played for the North West Giants in the BCMML last year, and played one game with the North Stars this season.

The North Stars are 3-0 to begin the new 2015-16 season and their roster now seems set. The team’s roster stands at 24 — two goaltenders, seven on defence and 15 forwards.
