Saskatchewan residents in and around the Assiniboia area have the opportunity to witness the provinces best women curlers.
Yesterday, the 2015 Viterra Scotties Tournament of Hearts Women’s Provincial Championships got underway and the winner of the tournament will earn the right to represent Saskatchewan at the 2015 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Moose Jaw.
The four-day event features 12 teams including the defending champions, Team Lawton from Saskatoon.
Non-Assiniboia residents will still have the opportunity to watch the big games of the tournament, from the comfort of their own homes.
Access7 will be showing the semi-final and final games of the tournament Sunday beginning at 1 p.m..
