The senior Vikings were in Prince Albert Wednesday evening to take on the St. Mary Marauders in their first round playoff game.
It was not to be. Before their home crowd, the Marauders defeated the Vikings convincingly, 28-7.
Simply put, the Vikings could not get into the end zone. The Marauders scored 21 points unanswered before the Vikings got their lone touchdown of the game late in the fourth quarter.
The Marauders now advance to take on a different group of Marauders — from Walter Murray — next week.
Including the playoffs, Vikings football ends the season with two wins and six losses.
