The second round match ups have been set in the NSRBL playoffs.
In one series, the Lloydminster Twins host the Wilkie Brewers. Lloydminster advanced to the second round after sweeping the Mervin Flyers. Wilkie also swept their first-round opponent, upsetting the Meadow Lake Sox in back-to-back games.
The second series features the Border City Blue Jays and the Unity Cardinals. The Blue Jays took out the North Battleford Beavers in three tightly contested games. After losing game one of their series with the Midwest Expos, the Cardinals won two straight to advance.
The second gets underway Tuesday night as the Twins welcome the Brewers into Lloydminster for game one of the series. Game two goes Wednesday night in Wilkie.
The dates for the series between the Blue Jays and Cardinals have yet to be announced.
