Seven teams in action in NSRHL

Friday, Paradise Hill was scheduled to play Spiritwood, but no score from that game was recorded or game sheet submitted to the Regional Optimist.

Also Friday, Maidstone was in St. Walburg and the Jets earned a 4-1 win.

The final game Friday had Edam in Wilkie. It got a bit rough with 80 penalty minutes and two three game misconducts. Wilkie also ended up with two players, suspended for one game.

The Outlaws goals came from David Schell, who had two, and singles from Ryan Schaefer, Mitch Suchan, Mike Sittler, Rick Cey and Mark Lorenz.

Curtis Sander was the winning goalie with 15 saves while Quinton Gauthier made 39 saves in the loss.

Edam's goal scorers were Jody Reiter, Brennan Weitzel, Joel Budd, ONeil Baillargeon and Makstr Lacoursiere.

Saturday, the Outlaws were in Paradise Hill and Sander earned his second straight win, as Wilkie prevailed 9-3.

Troy Watt, Barrett Penner and Schell scored in the first period. Jeff Cey, Penner and Bruce Yockey scored in the second and in the third Sittler scored twice while Lorne Griffiths scored once.

All three Hawks, goals were scored in the third period, two from Matt Hougham while Ryan Early had the other goal.

In Spiritwood Saturday, the Timberwolves lost to the Turtleford Tigers 5-4. Both teams had two powerplay goals and it was Brett Medve scoring the game winning goals with 1:15 left in the third period.

Luke Zbaraschuk, Brad Macnab, Craig McKee and Blair Knowlton were the other Tigers' goal scorers.

Shane Gpher scored twice for Spiritwood and Ryan Turgeon and Jesse Burt had singles.

Chad Terres was the winning goalie while Marty Lehouillier was saddled with the loss.

The final scored to report, comes from Meadow Lake where Maidstone won 7-5. Brett Harrison had a hat trick and Vinny Johnston, Ryan Johnston, Quinton Blanchette and Chris Hartman had solo markers.

Meadow Lake's goals came from Darren Caron with three and one each by Dustin Gorst and Brandan Wasyliw.

Dustin MacDonald earned the 26 save win while Sean McConnell took the 43 save loss.
