The annual AAA Sharks alumni game Dec. 17 at Battleford Arena ended in a 4-3 victory for the current crop of midget-aged players.
The alumni might dispute the outcome, as in the final seconds Morgan Fraser, current Red Deer Rebels rookie, got hold of a loose puck with her glove and put it in the back of the net.
Seventeen alumni players came to play including current coach Ashley Rafuse, former coach Ashley Gauthier and former trainer Rachel Trach. Other players included Keinyn Nordell, Morgan Fraser, Emily Wilson, Laura Harper, Amanda Grainger, Naomi Albert, Brittany Babcock, Taylor Durocher, Taylor Cave, Sarah Oliphant, Brooke Lonoway, Tori Bonnett, Alyssa Alger and goalie Jamie Powers
The Sharks appreciate the support of community members who came out for the fun evening and that of those who were able to bring warm winter clothing, food or cash for donations to the food bank.
