There are three scores to report on from the recent Saskatchewan Prairie Hockey League action. Saturday, the Saulteaux Three Stars played Maymont and it was the Settlers coming away with the 15-2 win.

There are three scores to report on from the recent Saskatchewan Prairie Hockey League action.

Saturday, the Saulteaux Three Stars played Maymont and it was the Settlers coming away with the 15-2 win. All four goalies, Shane Chicoine and Mat Leitner for Maymont and Gage Whittleton and Kyle Checkosis for Saulteaux saw action in the game.

Kenton Albert and Chad Bernier had four goals and three assists each. Colby Beierle had three goals and two assists while Kinley Sevick had a goal and five assists. Chris Beierle, Mark Melrose and Stacey Wandler also chipped in offensively with a goal and two assists each.

Boddy Caplette had a goal and fight while Dakota Tootoosis had a goal and an assist on the Saulteaux side.

Also Saturday night, the Battlefords Beaver Blues hosted and beat the Radisson Wheat Kings 8-1.

Devon Esquirol had three goals, Blaine Weber and Mitch Philips had two each, while Cody Bartusek had the other.

Jon Rose was the winning goalie.

Dana Derbowka was the lone Radisson goal scorer.

Tuesday the two teams had rematch, this time in Radisson and it was the Wheat Kings winning 6-3.

Tyrell Jonescu had two identical goals on backdoor, cross-crease passes and that helped the Wheat Kings earn their eighth win of the season.

From Friday to Tuesday, there are five games scheduled as they move into the third last week of the regular season.
