NORTH BATTLEFORD - Three graduating members of the North Battleford Comprehensive High School Vikings football team have been selected to play at the 2022 Senior Bowl.
Layne Watts, Michael Michnik and Jackson Geddes have been selected for the game. This contest showcases the top 45 senior football players from the North versus the top 45 from the South. The game is this Sunday, May 29 at 1 p.m. at SMF Field in Saskatoon.
Both Watts and Geddes have confirmed their future football plans: Watts has committed to playing with the Saskatoon Hilltops of the Canadian Junior Football League while Geddes has committed to the University of Regina Rams. Watts is the son of Trevor and Adria Watts and Geddes is the son of Stefan and Barb Geddes, residents of the Battlefords.
