Thursday marked the beginning of the largest high school basketball tournament in Saskatchewan, the Bowlt Classic Tournament.
The North Battleford Comprehensive High School senior boys team faced Bedford Road at Bethlehem and won 65-46. Rob Gaetz was the top scorer for the Vikings with 12 points.
The girls team faced Tommy Douglas at Tommy Douglas at thumped them 77-17. Kendra Humenny was the top scorer with 15 points.
The girls are back on the court at 3 p.m. Friday while the boys will be back in action at 1:15 p.m.
