Tuesday marked the final night of the regular season for the eight teams in the North Battleford Touch Football League, as four of those teams were in action.

The bottom four teams, the Headhunters (3-8), Western Can Slammers (3-10), Razorbacks (2-10) and Silver Bullets (2-11) were all in action Tuesday with playoff implications and an opportunity to change the standings.

Thursday, the Rhinos finished their regular season with a 42-6 win over the Western Can Slammers. The Rhinos grabbed second place with a 12-2 record.

In first place are the Huskies, who also won Thursday by a 36-0 score against the Silver Bullets. The Huskies end the regular season with a 13-1 record and now will look for their second league championship in two seasons.

The Gophers will enter the playoffs in third place at 11-3 while the Broncos hold the fourth spot at 6-7.

Fifth through eighth are all separated by one win. The playoff schedule will be set Wednesday and the post-season likely will start Thursday.
