Twins, Jays to meet in NSRBL Finals

The Lloydminster Twins will have a chance to defend their NSRBL title. And they will do so against a cross-town rival. The Twins finished a tight series against the Wilkie Brewers. After the Twins won game one, the Brewers won game two 5-3.

The ball is on its way to Chris King of the Border City Blue Jays as Unity Cardinals' Trace Sperle goes down for the slide. Sperle was out on the play, but the Cardinals won game two 5-4.

The Twins finished a tight series against the Wilkie Brewers. After the Twins won game one, the Brewers won game two 5-3. The two teams played to a 10-10 tie in game three. In the rematch the final game, the Twins edged the Brewers 2-1.


In the other series, the Unity Cardinals dropped game one 5-3 to the Border City Blue Jays. The Cardinals responded with a 5-4 win in game two in Unity. It was a close game three that saw the Blue Jays edge the Cardinals 2-1 to advance to the championship.


In league news, Jason Fechter of the Blue Jays was named the NSRBL's most valuable player.
