Over 9,000 people made the trip to the SaskTel Centre to watch some NLL action between the Saskatchewan Rush and the Vancouver Stealth.
After a win against Calgary kicked off the campaign, the Rush held their home opener, only to have it spoiled in an 13-11 loss.
Saskatchewan fell behind early 5-2 in the first frame before roaring back with seven goals before halftime. Curtis Knight scored the first recorded goal in Rush franchise history on home soil.
It was 9-9 heading to the final quarter before the Stealth scored four unanswered, three of them coming from Corey Small.
Chris Corbeil had another solid night on the turf, burying a hat trick for the Rush. He now has four goals on the year.
On deck for Saskatchewan is a home bout with Colorado.
