The North Battleford Comprehensive High School Vikings were on the road in Saskatoon Thursday for their latest contest.

Unfortunately, they dropped a close 18-14 decision to Tommy Douglas at Saskatoon Minor Football Field. Next action for the Vikings is versus Marion Graham at home at Beaver Lions Stadium Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, the John Paul II Crusaders were hoping to get back into the win column after a tough 8-6 loss to Martensville the previous week. They were in Kindersley taking on the Kobras and they beat them on the road 34-21.

With the win, the Crusader clinch second place in their 9-man C4 conference and have a home playoff game coming up.
