Water Doves in synch

Often during the Saskatchewan winters the only thought of water is the frozen variety in the hockey and curling arenas, but a handful of locals were in the pool and enjoying the water in Saskatoon in January.

The North Battleford Water Doves Synchronized Swimming team travelled to Saskatoon for the Diane Lemon Invitational.

In the 10 and under figures division, Water Dove Courtney Roberts had the best finish taking fifth place. Courtney also finished second in the 10 and under solo event.

Jenna Parker finished 15th in the 12 and under figures event and ninth in the PS solo event.

In novice figures Taylor Bouvier finished third.

Taylor Johnson was 13th, Abby Crozier was 19th, Kenzy Klippenstein was 20th, Breah Weber was 23rd, Morgan Menssa was 26th and Kylie Burnett was 29th in the 13 to 15 PS figures.

The Water Doves team, competing in the 13 to 15 PS team category, were fourth overall.

Kylie and Kenzy were the fourth place duet in the 13 to 15 PS category.
