KNIGHT: In Loving Memory of Issac Allan Knight "Al" ~ "Jock" who was born July 28, 1921 at Barrow-in-Furness, England and passed away June 11, 2011 at North Battleford, SK. Allan is survived by his loving wife Mildred; children: Bev Digout and Brian Harrison (Zoria); grandchildren: Drew, Jake, Genevieve, Christopher, Krista, Shannon; sisters-in-law, Audrey Knight and Yvonne Harrison; brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Joan Harrison; fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Allan was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Beatrice Knight; brothers: Ken and George; sister: Joan; brother-in-law, John Harrison. The Funeral Service was held Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, North Battleford, SK with The Rev. Peter Norman officiating. Rev. Peter read "Shared Memories" prepared by grandsons, Drew and Jake. Music Ministry was shared by Organist/Pianist ~ Mrs. M. Junice Headley; St. Paul's Sanctuary Choir; Soloist, Robert MacKay ~ "Danny Boy" and Hymn Selections: "Whispering Hope" and "Amazing Grace". Special Requests were "I Have a Dream" and "Music Box Dancer" with Piper Jim Ramsay. Honor Guard and Veteran Honors were presented by Royal Canadian Legion Br 70, North Battleford, SK by Rev. Fred J. Tinio, Legion Padre. The Pallbearers were Drew Digout, Stuart Turpin, Jake Digout, Joe Beckman, Bill Knight and Harvey Cashmore. Memorials are requested to Royal Canadian Legion Br. 70, "Poppy Fund" ~ Box 777, North Battleford, SK S9A 2Y9. Interment took place at the Veteran Section ~ Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, North Battleford, SK.
