Our great province of Saskatchewan has a very rich baseball history, and in honour of those that contributed to this history, the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum will be celebrating the 30th Annual Induction Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014. Along with the regular induction day events, extra festivities include a pancake, sausage and coffee breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Legion Hall at 262-22 Street, sponsored by Battleford Historical Lions Club.
At 10 a.m., the official unveiling of the "Biggest Bat in Canada" will take place on the grounds of the museum, 292-22 Street, Battleford.
The Town of Battleford has proclaimed Saturday, Aug. 16 Saskatchewan Baseball Museum Day!
