The director/curator of the Fred Light Museum sends a bouquet out to her summer staff - Kimberly Primas, Cymric Leask and Yang Liu - for their efforts in celebrating the 100th birthday of their historic building.
"These three young ladies are the ones who did all the decorating for the museum's event - they did a very festive job. They blew up over 100 balloons, designed the banners and set up the tables, and it was their intuitive idea to use artifacts as table pieces. I would like to say a huge thank you to them. Also a thank you to Councillor Ames Leslie for stepping up representing the Town. I was impressed with his speech (and not because I am his mother but as the director of this wonderful museum). Thank you to Floyd Andersen for designing, building and donating the material for the replica doll house, and thank you to the museum board members for their help on Sunday, Aug. 24, plus to all the people who attended the event - they made the event a success.
